A trustworthy and efficient childcare matching app for families and nannies.
As demand for nannies continues to grow, many existing childcare matching platforms still face safety issues, overwhelming profile volumes, and frequent mismatches, making the process inefficient for busy families.

NuNu was designed to address these challenges by creating a safer and more trustworthy experience that reduces mismatches and eliminates endless profile browsing, while supporting both families and nannies.

Design Approach
NuNu’s Smart-Reveal Matching shows only the most compatible, verified profiles.
Research showed that families and nannies value the convenience of online platforms but struggle with poor filtering, safety concerns, and time-consuming browsing. To address these issues, NuNu’s Smart-Reveal Matching system presents only compatible profiles based on a detailed screening questionnaire, reducing endless scrolling and preventing mismatches from the start.
To support safety and trust, profiles include verified background checks, safety records, and user feedback. Messaging becomes available only after mutual interest, and profile photos are revealed after matching to focus on compatibility rather than appearance. Features such as shared calendars, virtual interviews, and community tools further support reliable communication and connection.

Users answer a questionnaire covering needs, preferences, and verification, forming the basis for accurate and secure matching.

Smart Match Experience
Matches are shown based on compatibility from the questionnaire. Profile photos and messaging unlock only after mutual interest, focusing on fit rather than appearance.

Communication & Community
After matching, users connect through messaging and video. A community section allows local groups to share information and support.

BRANDING
Design Approach
A Trustworthy and Friendly Brand Identity Built Around a Memorable, Meaningful Icon.
In a competitive market, NuNu’s branding was approached with the question of how to stand out while clearly communicating its core values: safety, reliability, and warmth.
The icon was inspired by both the form and meaning of a baby cradle, symbolizing safety, comfort, and care. Its gentle shape and smiling facial expression add personality and approachability, reflecting the friendly and childcare-focused nature of the app while helping the brand feel human and relatable.
The color palette and typeface were selected to balance trust and friendliness, ensuring the identity feels both secure and supportive.


Inspired by both the form and meaning of a baby cradle, the logo embodies safety, warmth, and comfort. These values reflect the brand’s commitment to creating a reliable and nurturing space for families and nannies.
